Gardner Fellowship
The Gardner Fellowship is designed to support in-depth and innovative research using East Asian resources within the Library’s special collections. The fellowship accepts two matriculated undergraduate or graduate students at Brown University. Collaborative projects are welcome. Each fellow receives a stipend of $2,500. Applications are accepted until October 1, and fellows are required to present their final reports in April of the following year. Brown-BNU International Research Collaboration Fund
In partnership with Beijing Normal University, Brown University Library facilitates the Brown-BNU International Research Collaboration Fund, an academic exchange involving four students and scholars each year. Brown provides funding of $2,250 per month for up to three months to support research on China that utilizes the library systems of both universities. The application deadline is typically in October, with final reports due in September of the subsequent year. Please refer to Library announcements in Today@Brown for specific dates.
