Orwig Music Library

The Virginia Baldwin Orwig Music Library opened in January of 1988. It houses Brown’s music collection comprising music books, scores, periodicals, sound recordings, and video recordings. The collection supports the curriculum of the Music Department and provides material for general use by the Brown community.

The library is located on the first floor and basement floor of the Orwig Music Building and materials are listed in our catalog, BruKnow.  Orwig conforms to the policies and procedures of the University Library system. Visitors must follow the Brown University Library Visitor Guidelines.
